Welcome to the site of Japan Minami
Region, a volunteer service organization for women in business,
management and the professions. Japan Minami Region is a part
of Soroptimist International of the Americas, which is one of
four federations of Soroptimist International. There are currently
over 91,000 members in 125 countries. They chose their name from
two Latin words meaning “best for women”.

Japan Minami Region is a service
organization for women in business, management and profession.
There are five Regions in Japan and Japan Minami Region consists
of approximately 2,600 members in 94 clubs across Kyushu and Okinawa,
the southern part of Japan. Japan 5 Regions are a part of Soroptimist
International of the Americas (SIA), one of four federations making
up Soroptimist International (SI), the largest classified womens
service organization in the world

What We do
|
Clubs and members of Japan Minami
Region are working on the programs and projects
in line with SI and SIA focusing on improving the lives of women
and girls in local communities and throughout the world.
